Ethiopia, the largest and most populated country in the Horn of Africa, has a rich history, dating back at least 3,000 years, and comprises over 80 ethnic groups and numerous languages. Its capital city is Addis Ababa, situated almost at the centre of the country. The high population of the country, and its rich political, social, and economic history, set it up as a key player in the transformation of Africa.
However, the country’s transformation has from time to time been hit by challenges affecting the nation and individual pastors such as dependency on handouts, and preaching lacking depth, among other challenges. To help in finding a lasting solution, Possibilities Africa was compelled to start operating in Ethiopia in 2019.
