Executive Director
Pastor. Martin Simiyu
Martin is the founder of Possibilities Africa. He currently provides overall leadership to the ministry and oversees the development of its activities in Africa as the Executive Director. He is based in Kenya from where the ministry work in Africa is headquartered. Previously Martin has worked as a pastor at Christ is the Answer Ministries, a large denomination headquartered in Nairobi. He has also worked in other organizations during his career growth including serving as a part time lecturer at Pan Africa Christian University and as a guest lecturer at Moody Bible Institute in USA. Martin has two MA. degrees in Organizational leadership from Biola University in California, USA and MA. Intercultural Studies/Missions from Moody graduate school in Illinois, USA. He also studied BA. Bible and Theology at Pan Africa Christian University and Diploma, Applied Statistics at Kenya Polytechnic in Kenya

Senior Programs and Projects Development Officer
Kevin Kanyi
Kevin Kanyi is a critical thinker. He and his wife Muthoni are blessed with three children. Kevin has had his share of both rural and city life and thus brings a balanced outlook to the ministry. As an economist, he has the mind to imagine what could be and is eager to participate in the process of bringing great ideas to life. As Senior Programs and Projects Development Officer Kenya, Kevin interacts with pastors as a brother and facilitator for the economic empowerment program activities. To him, faith needs action to bring forth the results we want to see through the transformation of Africa!

Country Ministry Director- Kenya & Rwanda
Elizabeth Mwakelemu-Tole (Betty)
Betty holds a Master’s degree in Rural Sociology and Community Development, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. She has over 15 years of work experience in the not-for-profit sector having served in various capacities with national and international organizations as well as with the United Nations in Kenya. She brings knowledge and skills in program and project management including planning; coordination of activity implementation; reporting; communications; process documentation; advocacy, and capacity building among other areas.
Betty is born-again and a member of the International Christian Centre (ICC) Imara Church, a congregation of the Kenya Assemblies of God in Nairobi, Kenya. She is married to Tole Mwanyika and is a dedicated mother of two boys – Hamidi, aged 4, Ryan, aged 12, and a girl, Karyna who is aged 17 (as of August 2022).

Gilbert Sang
Gilbert is a great storyteller and a passionate preacher. Between him and his wife Beatrice, are three precious children that the Lord has blest them with. Gilbert, having been born and raised in a rural community in the Rift Valley of Kenya, finds it a privilege to interact with pastors in rural communities. Over the years since he completed his graduate studies, he has been involved in church ministry both in Nairobi and back home in the village. His early life, academic background in Theology, and extroverted nature make him the right fit for recruitment and relationship-building within the PA ministry. To him, the Gospel has the power to transform lives, regardless of age, tribe, or social status!

Head of Finance, Business and Operations
Haron Koimur
Haron joined Possibilities Africa in September 2023. He holds a masters of business administration, bachelor of commerce specializing in accounting. Haron is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (ICPAK), Certified Public Secretary and Certified SAP Consultant. Prior to joining Possibilities Africa, Haron had work experience in both public and private sectors which enabled him rise to the level of managing director. He has been a member of various boards on appointments and by election. Haron volunteers his professional skills in the church and has been doing so for over 20 years as church elder and treasurer, He loves the environment, making sure that he plants trees every year, enjoys singing hymns and listening to gospel music and takes nature walk with friends.

Country Ministry Director (CMD), Possibilities Africa Kenya, and East Africa Hub Team Leader
Dr. Stephen Andayi
Dr Andai formally joined Possibilities Africa Kenya (PAK) as a staff in 2020 after serving as a volunteer since 2006. He currently oversees ministry implementation across the East Africa region (Hub) which covers Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania and Kenya. He is also the CMD for Kenya. Dr Andai is leverages his extensive background as a senior public service manager, administrator, and lecturer. Professionally trained in education and human resources, Dr. Andai is also dedicated to research in his spare time. His leadership and expertise have significantly contributed to the growth and impact of PA’s mission in East Africa

Rev. Laurent Nduwimana
Rev. Nduwimana is the Presiding Bishop of the Evangelical Pentecostal Church of Burundi located in Bujumbura, Burundi. Bishop and his church have partnered with PA since 2022 to coordinate the implementation of ministry programs in Burundi.

Rev. Ellias Masago
Rev. Masago is a Pastor under the Tanzania Assemblies of God (TAG) in Soitsambu, Ngorongoro region. He is partnering with PA to facilitate implementation of ministry activities in Tanzania.

Jacques Remezo
Jacques Remezo is a tall, soft-spoken and social brother from the land of a thousand hills – Rwanda! He is happily married to Tabitha and they are blest with one son. Jacque’s passion in church service and ministry led him to theological studies. With a background in Theology, Jacque is a pastor by calling and profession. Growing up in Rwanda and relocating to Kenya for his studies, Jacque brings in a cross-cultural touch, where he understands and speaks 4 languages: Kinyarwanda, Swahili, French and English. To him, the holistic ministry approach is a driving force in the transformation of Africa!

Ministry Administration & Information Management Officer (MAIMO)
Elvis Kisiangani
Elvis currently works at MAIMO supporting Possibilities Africa Kenya (PAK) and other countries in the EA Hub. Since joining PA in 2019, Elvis has been instrumental in developing annual work plans, managing accounting, and supporting compliance and governance issues in Kenya and East Africa Hub. With a bachelor of commerce in finance and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) part IV qualifications, he is skilled in financial reporting, fundraising, and IT troubleshooting. Elvis also brings expertise in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and effective communication, gained through roles at Parklands Sports Club and Turnitaround Business Solutions Ltd. In his free time, he enjoys reading about finance, business organizations, and history, as well as participating in sports like soccer and basketball.

Country Program Support Officer
Victor Shalakha
Victor started working at Possibilities Africa Kenya in January 2022. He ensures effective communication and data management across programs, tracking key initiatives and supporting learning and publicity efforts. Victor holds a bachelor’s degree in social work and a diploma in social work and community development, with professional certification in monitoring and evaluation. He is currently pursuing a master’s in monitoring and evaluation. His previous experience includes roles at CAP Youth Empowerment Organization and ACE Africa Kenya. Outside work, Victor mentors youth at his church and enjoys soccer.

Projects & Programs Implementation Coordinator
Harrison Mutunga
Harrison started working at PA in January 2022. His responsibilities include identifying communities for recruitment, coordinating ministry events, and organizing training for leaders. Harrison’s diverse educational background spans pharmaceutical technology, business management, sociology, peace and conflict, and community development. His experience in pastoral work, both in urban and rural churches, along with banking, has been key to his role. Outside of work, Harrison enjoys witnessing souls to Christ, training choirs, and bonding with his family through athletics.

Richard Amkonyole
Richard, an intern at PAK since March 1, 2024, holds a bachelor’s degree in economics. He previously worked with the Bungoma County Government in Finance and Economic Planning, where he handled data analysis and inventory management, and later joined Rafiki wa Maendeleo Trust as a community mobilizer. At PAK, Richard assists in ICT, procurement, financial reconciliation, and supports event planning and travel arrangements. His expertise in data analysis and adaptability make him a valuable team member. In his free time, Richard enjoys playing soccer and staying active.

Grey Makhole
Grey is the longest serving team member of Possibilities Africa, having joined PAM in February 2013. His main responsibilities include recruiting pastors for the holistic transformation program, training them, and overseeing program implementation and community follow-up. With an educational background in agriculture, marketing, and theology, Grey has experience in the civil service, private sector, and civil society. His skills span pastoral work, marketing, public relations, and capacity building. In his free time, Grey enjoys farming, studying, and ministering the word of God.

Davie Kalidere Maluwa
Davie begun working at PAM in March 2017. His current duties include managing country ministry administration, collecting and sharing impact stories, and overseeing data management. He holds a diploma in food, nutrition & livelihood security and has seven years of experience as a consortium coordinator. Known for his strong people management and teamwork skills, Davie enjoys spending his free time with family and participating in church activities.

John Mastern Dzonzi
John joined Possibilities Africa Malawi (PAM) in August 2022. He leads the team in implementing PA’s vision and mission, mobilizing resources, and managing Malawi’s organizational priorities. With a master’s degree in biblical studies and a bachelor’s in biblical studies and Christian education and communication, John brings extensive experience from roles such as CEO of the Baptist Convention of Malawi and Youth Programs Manager at World Relief among others. In his free time, he enjoys following current affairs, reading, and traveling

Tsegaayehu Bazezew
Tsegaaye, also known as Tsega joined PAE on October 1, 2024. She manages administrative tasks, oversees finances, and handles communication and information for the organization. Tsegaayehu holds an MSc in human anatomy and a bachelor’s in public health with four years of lecturing experience. She has also coordinated ministry and mission activities for three years, particularly in rural Ethiopian communities. A committed Christian, she brings strong administrative and communication skills to her role. In her free time, she enjoys reading and listening to gospel music

Country Ministry Support Officer, Ethiopia
Bernabas Teklu Girma
Bernabas works part-time at PAE. He has served as a Ministry Support Officer since January 2021. He supports pastors in their ministry work, facilitates communication between PAE and local pastors, and manages program follow-ups in East Shewa. Bernabas holds a qualification in electronics technician (ECST) and has over 10 years of experience in mobile and computer maintenance, along with skills in graphic design and video production. He is fluent in Afan Oromo, Amharic, and English, a skill which introduced him to PA as he handles translation during PA trainings in Ethiopia. He has been involved in ministry since 2015 where he served as a youth pastor and thereafter as a preacher. In his free time, he teaches his daughter the languages, assists in church activities, and practices farming.

Abenezer Gebisa Tafa
Abenezer has worked at Possibilities Africa Ethiopia (PAE) since January 2023 where he oversees pastor recruitment, community surveys, and program management. He has a bachelor’s degree in management and six years of banking experience, along with a strong background in ministry. His familiarity with Ethiopia’s rural context and leadership skills guide his work. In his free time, Abenezer enjoys walking, reflecting over coffee with friends, and attending events, particularly jazz nights.

Country Administration and Communications Officer, Zambia
Lengwe Ngulube
Legwe has served at PAZ since July 2024. She is responsible for coordinating country activities, managing finances, and supporting communication efforts. With a background in public administration, Lengwe brings expertise from her previous role as a istrict HIV/AIDS Coordinating Advisor in Ndola, Zambia. A bachelor of technology in public administration, strong time management, and teamwork skills are key to success in her role. Outside of work, Lengwe enjoys reading and cooking, and tries to balance her professional duties with personal passions.

Berry Chansa Mwansa
Berry joined the PAZ team in September 2024. He coordinates the PA Ministry Implementation Steps and Timelines (MIST), ensuring proper planning, pastor recruitment, and the successful execution of events and training sessions. Berry engages pastors in community initiatives, tracks their progress, and ensures the challenges they face in implementing holistic ministry programs are addressed. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and certifications in accounting and computer studies. He has experience in banking and management roles at Zanaco Bank and clerical positions at Prudential Insurance. In his free time, Berry enjoys spending time with family, studying, and watching movies.

Christopher Chama
Christopher or Chris, joined Possibilities Africa Zambia (PAZ) in May 2023. He oversees program implementation, ensures organizational compliance, manages staff, and handles resource mobilization for the organization. Christopher holds a bachelor of bible & theology, a bachelor of Christian education, and a master of Christian education. His expertise in leadership, organization management, and program execution have been instrumental in his role. Outside of work, he enjoys studying, conducting research, participating in church activities, and engaging in social media.

Dr. Albert Simiyu
Albert is a management consultant who provides outsourced accounting services to PA. He works with the Head of Finance and Business Operations to ensure the processing of approved accounting transactions.

Communication support
Marvel Simiyu Wekesa
Marvel is a communication specialist who works part-time supporting Possibilities Africa’s communication department to enhance the organization’s digital presence and online engagement. He works as a consultant at Profit and Loss Consulting, a PR agency in Nairobi. With over three years of experience in communication and brand management, he excels in corporate communication, social media management, communication strategy development, and storytelling. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and public relations. In his free time, he writes poetry, watches football matches, and listens to music.

Chretien Ibyishaka
Chretien Ibyishaka is energetic, creative, and curious. He is one among nine children of his parents. Born in a village in Rwanda, and raised in the city of Kigali, he was exposed to opportunities that positively supported his mental and socio-economic development. His background in Information Technology and Business Economics works complementarily with his passion for audio-visual content creation. He creatively organizes information into visually appealing content for digital consumers. To him, everyone exists for a God-given purpose and each one should pursue to know and fulfill God’s purpose upon his life.
